If you enjoy expressing yourself through your clothing, there are numerous patches that are far more appealing than corporate logos. Even if you don't care about the aesthetics of the logo, a company or designer logo is free advertising, and many people prefer not to be covered in corporate symbols. If you have a cool work shirt, you can turn it into a regular piece of clothing that you can wear anywhere by removing the logo. The only way to completely hide a logo is to use a patch or applique, which is a thin piece of fabric used in knitting and crafting. You can also choose to remove the logo from the clothing.
METHODS TO HIDE THE LOGO:
Any patch can be used to cover a logo as long as it is large enough. You can use an existing patch or purchase a one-of-a-kind patch online. If you want to make it easier to attach to your clothing, get an iron-on patch. You can cover your logo with any type of patch if you know how to sew. If you don't want to add a bulky patch to your clothing, purchase an applique. An applique is essentially a thinner version of a patch; appliques are used to create custom clothing without adding to the fabric's thickness.
To keep the patch in place, insert 2-3 sewing pins into the patch and the clothing. Thread some stitching thread through the sewing needle and secure it with a knot. Pull the needle through the back of the patch and out the other side. Then, repeat the procedure by inserting the needle into the front and pulling it out the back. Thread the needle around the patch until it is completely attached to your clothing.
A seam ripper is a sewing tool that is used to remove threads or stitches. It looks like a pen with two prongs at the end and a sharp blade in the center. The shorter prong is used to cut through individual threads or cloth, while the longer prong is used to remove seams. A seam ripper can be purchased online or at a craft or knitting store.
Soak a pillowcase in water and place it over the logo. After that, set your iron to medium heat. Wait 15-30 seconds for the iron to heat up before pressing it on top of the pillowcase with your logo. For 45-60 seconds, move the iron back and forth over the logo. After that, remove the iron and pull up the pillowcase. Rub the logo with the pad of your finger firmly. As you apply friction, the logo will rub off.
Bottom line:
The only way to completely hide a logo is to use a patch or applique, which is a thin piece of fabric used in knitting and crafting. You can also choose to eliminate the logo from the attire.
